Dripping Springs, Texas, Feb. 20 -- Kirk Marchand, managing principal of Protection Engineering Consultants, will speak at "Infrastructure Safety & Security -- 2006," a technical seminar hosted by the New York Metropolitan Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) March 28 at Polytechnic University in New York.
Marchand will present an overview of "Facts for Steel Buildings: Blast and Progressive Collapse," a publication he authored for the American Institute of of Steel Construction (AISC) in 2005.
