PEC principal presents glass hazard paper,
co-authors bridge vulnerability paper
at international conference in UK
Spring Branch, Texas, August 28 -- Protection Engineering Consultants managing principal Kirk Marchand presented "Blast Induced Glass Hazards: A Comparison of Design Approaches and Recent Research" at the Ninth International Conference on Structures Under Shock and Impact (SUSI 06), held July 3-5 at the Ashurst Lodge Campus of the Wessex Institute of Technology in Southampton, Hampshire, UK. Contributors to the presentation included Protection Engineering Consultants senior principal Dr. David J. Stevens, Edward J. Conrath of the US Army Corps of Engineers, and Sarah B. Meyer of Applied Research Associates, Inc.
