PEC principal discusses airport terminal hardening at ACC/FAA conference
Spring Branch, Texas, August 28 -- Kirk Marchand, Protection Engineering Consultants managing principal, and Blair Hanuschuk, principal and Director of Aviation Security at Walter P. Moore and Associates, presented “Terminal Hardening: An Engineer’s Perspective” at the Airport Consultants Council / FAA Summer Workshop series, held July 19-20 in Crystal City, Virginia. The ACC provides development and operations-related consulting and product services to airports and other aviation system stakeholders. The presentation covered aspects of airport terminal hardening important to architects and owners.
