PEC to support design of new federal courthouse
Spring Branch, Texas, March 26 -- Protection Engineering Consultants, in cooperation with Walter P. Moore Structural Engineers and Kallmann, McKinnell, and Wood Architects, Inc., has been awarded a contract to support the General Services Administration in the design and construction of a new $48,000,000 Federal Courthouse in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Protection Engineering Consultants will provide blast-resistant design services, ballistic protection designs and site perimeter protection design support for the courthouse, which will include approximately 118,000 square feet of space for a wide range of federal offices and activities as well as 12,600 square feet of parking space.
