Spring Branch, Texas, March 26 -- Protection Engineering Consultants today announced the addition of Matthew A. Barsotti and Aldo E. McKay to its staff.
Matthew A. Barsotti,
Senior Engineer
Matt Barsotti specializes in mechanical and electro-mechanical system design and analysis, and has served as PI on projects for organizations including the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the Technical Support Working Group (TSWG), the United States Air Force (USAF) and others. His general fields of expertise include mechanical engineering, system integration, sensor design, numerical modeling and probabilistic analysis.
Mr. Barsotti earned a bachelor's degree in engineering with a mechanical emphasis from John Brown University. He is currently completing a master's of science degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Aldo E. McKay, Project Engineer
Aldo McKay brings five years of experience in the field of security and protection engineering, including the design and testing of counter-mobility barriers, blast resistant design and analysis of structures, and progressive collapse and vulnerability assessments of government facilities.
Mr. McKay earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from John Brown University and is pursuing a master’s degree in structural engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
