Stevens honored as ACI Fellow

April 21 -- Protection Engineering Consultants
senior principal Dr. David Stevens was among 17 individuals honored as a
Fellow of the American Concrete Institute during its Spring 2008 Convention, March 30-April 3 in Los Angeles.
As stated in the ACI Bylaws, a Fellow is an individual who has made "outstanding contributions to the production or use of concrete materials, products, and structures in the areas of education, research, development, design, construction, or management." Nominations for the honor may come from the organization's Fellows Nomination Committee, local chapters, the International Committee or by petition signed by at least five current ACI members. The ACI Board of Direction approved the nominations of its Spring 2008 honorees at the ACI Fall 2007 Convention. Including the 17 new honorees, 671 members have attained the rank of Fellow, first established by the Institute in 1973.
