announces 2010 short courses
Austin, Texas, October 20 -- Protection Engineering Consultants will offer a new short course in blast-resistant window design in 2010 in addition to its well-received course in blast-resistant and anti-terrorism design.
Due to demand related to glazing protection in commercial and government buildings, PEC will host "Blast-Resistant Window Design" February 24-26 in San Antonio, Texas. Senior principals Dr. Chuck Oswald, Dr. David Stevens, Ed Conrath and Kirk Marchand will instruct participants, and they will be supplemented with off-site shock tube testing provided by ABS Consulting.
For the third consecutive year, PEC will host "Blast-Resistant and Anti-Terrorism Design," March 1-5, in San Antonio. PEC senior principals will also instruct participants in this course and will be supplemented with off-site shock tube testing provided by ABS Consulting.
