ASTM International Award of Merit

November 9 -- Edward J. Conrath, Protection Engineering Consultants Senior Principal, has been named a recipient of the ASTM International Award of Merit and a Fellow of the Society in recognition of distinguished service and outstanding participation in ASTM International Committee activities. Conrath, an ASTM International member since 1987, received the award for his service to Committee F12, Security Systems and Equipment, the committee he has chaired since 2006. He is only the fifth honoree named from that committee since 1988, and the first since 2000. ASTM International established the Award of Merit in 1949.
Founded in 1898 as the American Society for Testing and Materials, ASTM International is today one of the largest voluntary standards development organizations in the world. With a membership of over 30,000, it is a trusted source for technical standards for materials, products, systems and services.
