Matthew Gomez, Associate Engineer
Matthew Gomez joined Protection Engineering Consultants as Associate Engineer in January 2010.
Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley in 2008. Matt previously served as a structural engineer for an Austin, Texas, design firm where he performed design and detailing of structural systems and construction administration duties. At Protection Engineering Consultants, his work includes blast-resistant design and detailing for structures, and he is involved in new materials research and testing for commercial clients.
