In support of US Federal Properties of Kansas City, Hoefer Wysocki Architects of Leawood, Kansas and Mayer-Najem Constructors, PEC engineers are providing design services for the $35 million Veterans Affairs Health Care Center in east Montgomery, Alabama, where construction should start in October. The 153,315-square-foot structure at Chantilly Parkway and Ryan Road will include a full-service pharmacy, a laboratory, a radiology clinic, an ophthalmology and dental clinic, and a women’s health clinic. Construction will be complete in 2015. The design by Hoefer Wysocki Architecture of Leawood, Kansas, is based on a “clinic in the park” concept that uses greenery and a wide exterior view of water and gardens. Engineers at PEC are proud and appreciative of our continuing relationship with Hoefer Wysocki Architects and are proud of the services we can offer in providing essential facilities for our veterans.
