Construction Complete on VA Ambulatory Care Clinic in Loma Linda, California

ZGF Architects, in partnership with its design-build team, designed a new outpatient clinic for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in Loma Linda, California. The project goal was to consolidate services and provide additional capacity in a contemporary, patient-centered setting, while making significant outpatient services more accessible to veterans. The new, 3-story, 340,000 sq. ft. ambulatory care center can accommodate 50 percent of all outpatient care visits to the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. Services include primary care, women’s health, prosthetics, outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation, imaging, mental health, and dental health. Protection Engineering Consultants enjoyed working with the design team, led by ZGF Architects and The Walsh Group, as the physical security engineer performing the protective design of the site, building façade, and building structure.  Read more about this project in Healthcare Design Magazine.
